Gov. Jay Inslee and Sen. Joe Fain, R-Auburn, welcomed Miss Auburn's Morgan Warren and Miss Auburn's Outstanding Teen Keely Franchini to Olympia last week.

"I had the tremendous opportunity to host Morgan Warren of Auburn and Keely Franchini of Lake Tapps at the Capitol," Fain said. "Morgan and Keely are this year's winners of the Miss Auburn and Outstanding Teen in the Miss Auburn Scholarship Pageant, which is the leading community-scholarship program of its kind in the state.

"Both served as incredible ambassadors for our South King County community."

In addition to being recognized on the floor of the Senate, they had a chance to tour the Capitol and meet the governor.
