Leadership in the state's 47th Legislative District will remain intact with all three incumbents winning easily in Tuesday's mid-term general election.
Sen. Joe Fain (R-Auburn) holds a large lead, 63.83 percent to 36.17 percent of the vote, over Democratic challenger Carol Barber.
Fain is seeking a second term in office.
Both of the district's House seats still belong to Mark Hargrove (R-Covington) and Pat Sullivan (D-Covington).
For Position No. 1, Hargrove was defeating Chris Barringer (D-Covington), 56.38 percent to 43.62 percent of the vote. For Position 2, Sullivan (D-Covington) was outdistancing Barry Knowles (R-Covington), 55.89 percent to 44.11 percent of the vote.
